Term 3 Update

Term 3 has been very busy!

We have had our trip to the Botanic Gardens to finish our Inquiry topic on the Native Bush. We had an absolute blast exploring and learning. A big thanks to all the parents who came! (if any parents have photos please email them to Miss de Nys-Farrell)

Book Week was fantastic. We got to read lots of books and all got in the spirit, participating in class and lunch time activities, we especially loved making crowns and swords with our buddy class. We were extra excited for the Book Parade on the Friday where everyone came in costume and got up on stage! (even if it was a little scary)

We have been working hard in class, especially on our problem solving in maths... some of the problems are pretty tricky!

Welcome back to Term 2!

Welcome back to Term 2 in Room 8!
We have had a fantastic first week settling back into routine.A warm welcome to Coen and Cruze who started in Room 8 on Monday.
This week we were lucky enough to have Ms Leafberg do some Mr Men and Little Miss art with us. We had lots of fun and our pictures look great hanging up in the classroom!

On Friday we had the coaches from Kelly Sports come and do some fun sports activities like obstacles courses, basketball, and rugby. We were in a big group with our friends from Rooms 7 and 9. It was a blast!!!

Teddy Bear Picnic

On Friday Room 8 brought our teddies to school for a Teddy Bear Picnic with the rest of the Year 1 classes. We went out to the field with our lunchboxes and teddies and had a parade before we ate our lunch. Our teddies had lots of fun at school, and so did we!
